“Innovative Bicycle and Pedestrian Projects”

Held on Tuesday, January 29th; Recording available

Please join AASHTO’s Council on Active Transportation for a free one-hour webinar on recent innovations in bicycle and pedestrian projects and planning. Ben Ehreth and Steve Mullen from NDDOT presented on the state’s recent pop-up installations, conducted as part of North Dakota’s statewide active and public transportation plan ND Moves. NDDOT discussed positive outcomes and lessons learned from the pop-ups. Jackie DeWolfe from MA introduced MassDOT’s newly released Statewide Pedestrian Plan, the Statewide Bicycle Plan, and their companion documents: Municipal Resource Guides for Walkability and Bikeability. She also discussed implementation and initiation of projects originating from these plans and how they plan to measure success.
